Event Code of Conduct
BrainXchange is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience where everyone can learn, network, and contribute professionally.
Our standard
BrainXchange is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body type, race, age, ethnicity, religion, political views, or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are inappropriate at BrainXchange events, on event platforms, and during conference-related activities. Participants who violate these rules may be removed without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to
- Offensive comments—verbal, visual, or written—related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance or body type, age, race, ethnicity, religion, political views, or technology choices.
- Sexual images or sexualized conduct in conference venues, sessions, communications, or online event spaces.
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing messages, sustained disruption of talks or forums, spamming event channels, or unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, staff, and contractors are also subject to this policy.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, removing the person from a session or event platform, or expelling the person from the event without a refund.
Reporting a concern
If you are being harassed or have another conduct concern, contact a member of the BrainXchange event staff immediately or email [email protected]. We expect participants to follow these rules at conference venues, on event platforms, and during all conference-related activities.
